Why this test matters

Marks do not decide career potential.
Our tests do.

A 92 in Mathematics looks like engineering material. But what if your child’s spatial reasoning is at band 2? What if they hate explaining their work? Marks show what a child scored last term. They do not show whether they can reason through unfamiliar problems, or whether their interest survives contact with the real work. That is what we measure.

Insights from our report

What marks cannot tell you

Reasoning strength: Verbal logic and accuracy both at band 5 (top tier). Pattern logic at band 4. Can solve complex problems but may struggle explaining solutions under pressure.

Working style: Strongly driven to "Build and Operate" and "Investigate and Explain". Prefers solving underlying technical problems over people management.

Growth gap: Spatial reasoning at band 2, so visualising 3D systems is a challenge. This will affect graphics, simulations and hardware design.

The verdict: Computing and Information Technology is the right fit. Engineering needs more careful field selection. Two months of targeted practice on 3D visualisation will close the gap.

How counselling closes the gap

A report sitting on a shelf changes nothing. What changes a student’s trajectory is what happens after the report: the conversation, the plan, the accountability, and the two-month sprint to close the gap. That is where a counsellor comes in.

Why counselling matters

  • Reports do not change behaviour. A student reads "Sequence Completion: Band 3" and nothing shifts. A counsellor says "You are great at logic rules, but sequences trip you up, and here is why that matters for your field" and suddenly it clicks.
  • Parents need translation. Reasoning bands, field affinities and growth gaps are technical concepts. A counsellor sits with parents, explains what the numbers mean, and maps out exactly what the student should do in the next two months.
  • Gaps become ownership. When a counsellor names a gap and hands the student a three-week sprint to close it, the student feels accountability. They own the gap. They own the growth.
  • Confidence compounds. Small wins in the two-month sprints build momentum. A student who closes one gap after the first intervention is far more likely to push through the next one. Counsellors guard that momentum.
  • Stream selection becomes certain. Without counselling, a student with ambiguous results makes a guess. With counselling, they make a choice, with evidence, clarity and a growth plan already in motion.

Students’ interests matter

What a child wants is data,
not a distraction.

Most assessments treat interest as decoration and reasoning as the real measure. That gets it backwards. A student with average reasoning and genuine, durable interest usually outruns a student with strong reasoning who was placed in a field by somebody else.

Interest stated in Stage 1 is re-checked at Stages 2, 3 and 4. Interest that fades under contact with the real work is a finding, not a failure.

Why the reason behind an aspiration is recorded separately: a student who wants medicine because of the work is in a different position from one who wants it because of the salary, or because of a parent. All three are legitimate. Only one of them survives Class 12. That classification is made by a human counsellor, never by an algorithm.

The gap found in Stage 2 is not the finding, it is the assignment. Each intervention period has named blocks and a named owner, and the next assessment re-tests exactly what was flagged.

Is this a mock test for JEE, NEET or CUET?

No. No item is drawn from a competitive syllabus, nothing is speed-scored against a competitive norm, and no score maps to a rank. The programme measures reasoning foundation, interest, working orientation and confidence.

What class should my child be in?

Classes 8 to 10 is the core band, because that is when stream selection gets decided. Band cut-points are calibrated separately for each class, so a Class 8 student is never held against a Class 10 norm.

Will the report tell my child which career to choose?

It will not hand down a single verdict. It names which fields the evidence currently supports, where interest is running ahead of readiness, where there is an unused strength, and what to build over the next two months.

My child scored 95 in Maths, does that not mean engineering?

Not necessarily. High marks show subject recall, not reasoning ability or interest in the actual work. We have seen students with 95 in Maths but weak spatial reasoning or low interest in debugging who struggled in engineering, and students with 78 in Maths but exceptional quantitative logic who thrived. Marks are one data point. We measure what actually predicts success.

How long does the full programme take?

Roughly eight months. Four assessments with a two-month intervention period between each, so growth is measured rather than assumed.

Can we take only the first test?

Yes, for ₹500. On its own it is a good starting point for a conversation at home. It is not sold as a career recommendation.

What if my child misses a stage?

The series is flagged as partial and the growth sections are suppressed. We do not estimate a missing stage from the ones around it.

How is my child’s data handled?

Guardian consent is taken at enrolment, the retention period is stated up front, and data is deleted on request. Percentile ranks are never surfaced to students or parents. Every report is signed off by a counsellor before release.

Can my child’s school run this for everyone?
